This years Witches Guild Summer Solstice Pilgrimage will set out from 528 Ryrie Street, East Geelong, at 4:30 PM on Sunday December 22.
Participants will hike up to the nearby Eastern Observatory on public pathways before returning to 528 Ryrie Street.
Please wear sturdy footwear and prepare for mosquitoes. Unfortunately the pedestrian pathway up to Eastern Observatory is not paved and the area around the observatory maybe rough and uneven. Suitability for wheelchair access should be assessed by individuals prior to the event.
Acknowledgement of country will be made at Eastern Observatory. A member of the Guild will also give a brief talk on relevant European solar, lunar and other seasonal lore and celebrations.
Bring drinks and snacks as appropriate.
